This was my first full calendar year of blogging. It has been great fun for me both to write the posts and share the recipes, but also to track which posts get the most hits and where my readers come from. It blows my mind when I realize that people from 101 countries on 6 continents have been reading the blog. I appreciate every reader and even more, I appreciate your comments and feedback on the recipes. The 10 countries with the most views of my blog are:
- United States
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- Germany
- India
- Philippines
- France
- Netherlands
- Israel
Almost as surprising to me are which posts have been the most popular. I guess I shouldn’t be so surprised, basic how-to recipes are always popular. But how many more hits the top post got than any other post is daunting – over 4 time s as may views than the next most popular post. You will see which ones these are below. The other popular posts are my Persian recipes, 3 are in the top 10; as the non-Persian wife of a Persian husband, this pleases me to no end.
So, here they are…
#10 Chicken Fesenjun in the Slow Cooker
#9 Mjeddrah – Rice, Lentils & Onions
#8 Ali’s Turkey Meatloaf – in the Slow Cooker
#7 Sabzi Polo ba Mahi (Herbed Rice and Fish)
#6 Haveej Polo (Persian Chicken, Carrot and Rice Pilaf)
#5 Butternut Squash Stuffed Shells with Lemon Sage Browned Butter Sauce
#4 Oven Roasted Jerusalem Artichoke Chips
#3 Patty Pan Squash Two and a Half Ways
#2 Mashed Potato Latkes – Thanksgiving Leftovers #2
And, the amazingly popular…#1 Pickled Jalapeno and Serrano Peppers
